How to get VST2 and VST3 to both show up in Cubase 10?

Hey everyone!

I’ve just released my first VST3. For some reason, the VST2 won’t show up in Cubase 10 when the VST3 is installed. Any tips on how to resolve that?

that’s actually a good thing. (meaning the VST3 detected as a successor of the VST2)
you can badly make both show up if you make their IDs not interchangeable but that’s bad practice.

Wasn’t there the JUCE_VST3_CAN_REPLACE_VST2 flag inside VST3 Wrapper, which can be set to 0?
(But actually I agree with ttg, its a good thing)
