How to set in Projucer that a plugin AU has a midi output on MacOs?

Hello,
i did a plugin with audio in/out and midi in/out.
I am using it on MacOs with the DAW Ardour 7.5.
In Projucer i have set that :
Plugin VTS3 Category is Fx
Plugin AU Main Type is kAudioUnitType_MIDIProcessor

My problem is that in Ardour, the midi output of the AU plugin does not appears (it is bypasssed), whereas the midi output of the VST3 plugin does appear as wanted. See red lines in figures below.
Did i put a wrong parametrization in Projucer?

afaik AU V2 can not have midi out

Ha?! Then how to proceed on LogicPro for example (LogicPro does not accepts VST3, only AU isn’t it)? Can a midi->midi plugin exists or not? Can we add then some sidechain audio?

That’s not true. I have an AU plugin with MIDI In & Out (at least in AudioPluginHost).

In AudioPluginHost i also see this MIDI out, but not in Ardour, neither in LogicPro where the plugin appears as a Synthe and not as a Fx Midi.
I tried to select ‘Midi Effect Plugin’ in Projucer, then in Ardour the AU plugin no more appears. I have no clear understanding how the different DAWs consider the plugins with respect to the ‘Plugin Characteristics’.
