Hello! I’m developing a virtual machine(Kind of interpreter who executes the byte-code) for my programming language. I have one licencing question. If I pay for 1 Juce licence and anybody make a commercial program with my programming language and distribute it (He need to distribute his program including virtual machine executable which I created with Juce) would he need to buy a juce licence too!?
Well, if you’re just distributing your own exe (e.g. an interpreter) that uses juce internally then that’d be ok with a commercial license. But if your customers were creating exes that contain juce code, and not giving away all their own work under the GPL, then they would also need licenses.
