This subject has to do with creating two different versions of an AU plugin, and a conflict that this is causing in Logic Pro. My AU plugin of the “Art Vista Intonator” loaded perfectly in Logic Pro at first. Then I went on to create an alternative version of this AU plugin and had it notarized separately by Apple. The difference between the two is the name (the new version has an added “i” in the name). The “i” stands for “instrument”, as project parameters were set to “instrument”. This was to try and allow it to be seen by a different DAW.
So now suddenly Logic Pro is exclusively trying to load the “i” version in projects were the original version were loaded. I can’t even load the original version when I create a new project.
I have tried and removed the “i” version from the components folder. I have re-built the original AU plugin and re-Notarized it with Apple. Logic Pro is still only lists the new “i” version, and if it is not available, there will be an error message. .
I have used Plugin Manager to refresh the plugins. Nothing helps.
Anyone here that has a clue to what’s going on and how to fix this?
