Newbie Q: Demo host + plugin, silent... how to use them?

Hi,

I'm really a newbie... I've built the demo host and plugin successfully and opened the host, added the Jucedemoplugin to the host, and then? No effect, I speak to my mic, nothing output in the speaker... Is it simply a MIDI demo? I have to have a digital piano??

Attachment is a screen shot to make sure I'm doing all right...

Well, I was enlightened by an old post, it seems the guy didn't realize he had to connect the filters by "dragging" lines and connect... neither did I.... uh.. silly
