Similar to this post [Improvements To Handle AU Parameter Ranges], I would like to request being able to set and get parameter information; not only the min and max, but also the step and type (although I’m not sure if that’s applicable to all plugin formats). VST provides VstParameterFlags and VstParameterProperties to achieve this.
