Simple VST won't load on a new machine

I need a clue here.

If I make a simple VST3 file from the default “hello world” project it loads up in reaper just fine. If I take the same file and copy it to a new machine with a fresh installation of reaper, it fails to open there. What could be the reason? Any preferences I need to set in the projucer?

Perhaps you’re missing the microsoft c++ redistributable runtime on the new machine?
you can eventually set the option to ‘static runtime’ in projucer.
