After I upgraded to v 6.0.8 on macos 11.2.3 Big Sur the projucer application no longer runs.
I get an error message: “Projucer.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
Also, the projucer apps from previous versions of JUCE e.g. 5.x no longer run and give me the same error now.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
On my MBA / Intel with 11.2.3 the Projucer 6.0.8 works fine out-of-the-box. Thus i guess something is broken on your computer. ARM? From where did it comes? Compiled by yourself? Anyway i can not help much more (i never experienced that kind of error).
If you haven’t tried it already, I’d recommend rebuilding the Projucer using the project file located in extras/Projucer/Builds/MacOSX, and checking whether this new build runs.
Thanks reuk. Rebuilding it locally seems to work OK. Something about the app that downloaded with the v6x library is unhappy so that remains a mystery.
