VST plugin build not found by a host application

Hi,

I have created my first ever VST plugin (jey!)

It is based on the Basic Audio Midi Plugin tutorial with some some added modifications. The project builds fine and I am able to load it using the Juce Plugin Host Application. However, Ableton Live does not recognise it when scanning VST folders on my computer. Why would that be?

Maybe the host is looking for 32 or 64 bit architectures and you're building the opposite kind?

Got it  - changed the architecture (OSX) settings to Universal Binary (32/64-bit) in Introjucer. Had to also add Plugin Manufacturer name and Plugin Manufacturer code before the build was succesfull. Seeing the actual VST opening in my host felt like magic had happend. Nice!
