Copy step symlink breaks auval

Hi,

This morning, after updating JUCE, auval fails to find my component. This cause of the issue is that the component is now copied as a symlink rather than a full copy. Is there a particular reason why a symlink is preferred over a full copy?

I am also experiencing this in JUCE 7.0.10.

Should add if you need to change your deployment target (to say 10.13) you can do this when you generate the project by passing -DCMAKE_OSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.13 to the cmake command.
