Well, no news/answer so I worked around that using a fake JUCEApplicationBase definition as described in https://forum.juce.com/t/using-juce-in-an-existing-windows-application-cwinapp/26080
Still, I think it would make sense to have some customization freedom for (un-handled) VST opcodes.
