"Installation Failed" when using the auto-update

I just launched the Projucer and it ran an update, but it failed:

Installation Failed
Could not remove the existing folder!

What should I do?

Also: where can I find the update code? I’d like to add auto-update to my own app.

Could not remove the existing folder!

This happens on some windows versions and is a security feature. Either run the projucer as an Administrator or don’t click overwrite when auto-updating - simply choose a different folder and then manually delete the old folder.

You guys should put this ^ as a message in the windows version. I just figured it was broken until I got sick of it enough to search out this forum post.
