Is there any plans to implement some OSC handling in JUCE?

Maybe this is more suited to another section of the forum, but I have a feeling that OSC or something very similar is going to appear inside hosts in the near future as a replacement for the current get/set parameter model. Especially now that cycling 74 and ableton have announced they are working together.
