As the subject implies, Xcode 3.2 is a pretty ancient format. Is there a specific reason for this, or is this just a healthy reluctance to change anything that still works?
Do more recent formats offer any advantages?
I’m not sure; for reference, all versions of CMake since 3.15 have exported Xcode 5.0-compatible projects. If there are any new features, they haven’t been compelling enough for CMake to adopt them.
