When Projucer will be released?

Hi All,

I’m new user in Juce, I hope I can learn this great library.

Hi Jules, When Projucer will be released?

Thanks

Damn good question! I’ve so tied up with Tracktion since december that I’ve hardly had chance to work on it.

However… I’m booked-in to give a couple of presentations about it at some conferences in May, so need to get back on the case with it asap!

Thanks for your quick reply.

IMHO, Projucer can be released in different licence with Juce library. Or close source for Projucer is OK too.

Yeah, it’ll probably be closed-source, though TBH I’ve not decided exactly how to do it yet.

If it’ll probably closed source, I think we can be tester for alpha version/others.
Your video in Youtube about Projucer very tempting for me.

Thanks

You can visit and compare with Lianja (http://www.lianja.com), a new commercial product similiar with FoxPro but cross platform. Their product not yet released but from Alpha to RC4, they share it to community.

IMO, Juce performance is similiar with Flash/HTML5 animation, and in my exploration about cross platform library, only Juce support all platform and it’s mature. There are some similiar library for all platform with single code but not yet finished, XeroCoder (http://www.gridplusplus.com), Lianja (http://www.lianja.com). Some finished product with single code is HTML5/JavaScript/PHP language, and script language is not friendly with commercial app development.

I try to install JuceDemo in Android, and why graphic rendering with activate animation a bit slowly? Even I switch to use OpenGL.

Anyone test on iOS? Is graphic performance is OK?

Thanks
